Designed to run the length of your cab, these Rattler Running Boards provide a 6.5" wide step allowing for easy entry in and out of your 2009-2017 Dodge RAM 1500. These Running Boards feature a rugged industrial look that will give your Dodge RAM a more aggressive appearance. As an added bonus, these Barricade Running Boards also protect against brush, trail hazards and even dreaded parking lot door dings.

Quality Construction. Designed for durability and extra strength, these Rattler Running Boards are crafted from heavy duty, 14 gauge carbon steel. Each Running Board is e-coated and completed in a tough black powder coated finish, providing long lasting corrosion protection.

Bolt-on Installation. Barricade designed their Rattler Running Boards to be easily mounted using the existing factory locations. All the necessary hardware and brackets are included for a quick and painless upgrade. Please note that drilling will be required if your RAM was not equipped with running boards from the factory.

Bought these after leveling my truck old back injury made exiting painful. These totally changed that, entry and even looks.
TECH TIP when installing only keep the main bracket screws in only 1 full turn. The secondary bracket tighten fully but don’t connect to main bracket until running boards on. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID. Also if installing without a lift a creeper makes the job go a lot easier

I've had them on my truck for a couple of weeks now and they look and feel great. They make it considerable easier for those who are on the shorter side or do not regularly ride in trucks to get in and out of.
The install was pretty easy after putting together a couple of the brackets. It took me a little longer because I had to remove some rust from the threaded mounting points under my truck.

I always hated the look of leveled trucks with running boards. But after watching the wife and kids struggle for nearly year getting in and out of the truck, I gave into my soft side. I began the search for the perfect running boards, almost went with Amp Research but that price tag is way too hefty. These look awesome on my truck. Installation took me a bit longer just because I missed a few details on the instructions that I caught after finishing up the driver side and halfway through the passenger side.
